Inventory Number (NUMCAT)[NC999999]
Identifier given to each inventoried material in the Collection Network of the National Program for the Conservation and Use of Genetic Resources
Institute (NOMBAN,NOMBA1,NOMBA2,NOMBA3)
Code/s of the Institute/s in the Network where the accession is maintained. The code corresponds with the code in the FAO Institute database and consists of a 3-letter country code where the institute is located plus 3 figures identifying the Institute. Institutes which have not yet been incorporated into the FAO database, start with an asterisk and are followed by a space and an acronym.
Accession Number (NUMBAN,NUMBA1,NUMBA2,NUMBA3)
Identifier/s of the accession in the corresponding collection/s.
Donor (DONANTE)
Institute which donated the material to the Network. The donor may be a foreign institute or a national institute which no longer conserves the material. The code corresponds with the code in the FAO Institute database and consists of a 3-letter country code plus 3 figures identifying the Institute. Institutes which have not yet been incorporated into the FAO database start with an asterisk and are followed by a space and an acronym.
Donor Number (NUMDON)
Identifier given to the accession by the donor Institute.
Genus (GENERO)
Scientific name of the genus. Initial uppercase letter followed by lowercase letters.
Species (ESPECI)
Specific epithet portion of the scientific name in lowercase letters followed by the author.
Subtaxa (SUBTAX)
Taxonomic identification below the species level. In lowercase letters followed by the corresponding author. Each term is preceded by the taxonomic level to which it belongs:ssp. (subspecies), var. (variety), convar. (convariety), f. (form).
Local or commercial name (NOMLOC)
Name designated to the accession.
Collecting number (NUMREC)
Original number assigned by the collector of the sample during the expedition.
Collector (CODREC)
Code of the person/s and /or institute/s that collected the original sample.
Collecting date (FECREC)[AAAAMMDD]
Year, month and day when the original sample was collected, where the first four characters are the year, the next two are the month and the last two indicate the day.
Country of origin (PAIORI)
Name of the country where the sample was originally collected. According to the ISO 3166 country codes (3-letter Code).
State/Region (ESTREG)
State or region where the sample was collected. For Spanish material, indicate the autonomous region.
Province (PROVIN)
Province where the sample was collected.
Location (LOCALI)
Location where the sample was collected. (If the last name is separated by a semicolon, it refers to the municipal district. Ex.: SAN JOSÉ;NIJAR). When the location is a road, the names of two reference points are separated by “/” and are followed by the distance in kilometers from the first point. Ex.: CORTES DE LA FRONTERA/UBRIQUE 3 KM.
Latitude (LATITU) [9999N]
Latitude of the collection site in geographic coordinates. Degrees and minutes followed by N (north) or S (south).
Longitude (LONGIT) [99999W]
Longitude of the collection site in geographic coordinates. Degrees and minutes followed by E (east) or W (west).
